I am a third grade teacher and I am excited about starting a wiki. I have been doing some searching and viewing of different wikis and want to jump in and give it a try.
I hope my students are as excited about giving this a go as I am.
First and foremost, I would like my students and their parents to read the rules of safety as we work online. These are very important for everyone to understand and follow.
Our project for this site was to learn about famous African-Americans. Each student read a biography about well-known African-American. Then a graphic organizer was completed and used to write a report. Each student used the program Audacity to record the report. I have uploaded the recording of all the recordings on this wiki and a picture each student drew of the person the report is about.
It would be nice if you would leave a comment on someone's page about the work that was done.
